Nationally Recognized Needlework Artist - Marsha Papay Gomola
Nationally Recognized Needlework Artist, Marsha Papay Gomola, has taught needlework at regional and national seminars for EGA, NAN, TNNA, The Sampler Gathering, Christmas in Williamsburg, and Callaway Gardens School of Needle Arts. She has been published in Fine Lines, NeedleArts Needle Pointers and Sampler and Antique Needlework.
In 2008 and 2018 she received the Jean Taggart Award and The Exemplary award from the National Academy of Needlearts. Marsha is a graduate in Teacher Certification from the National Academy of Needlearts. She is currently serving as a counselor for the teacher certification program. Marsha specializes in raised embroidery emphasizing the use of silk shading to create realistic contemporary designs.
