This class is a great introduction to stumpwork. Using simple techniques a dimensional pumpkin and pear are stitched on duchess satin. Glass beads are used for the clusters of grapes and garnets are used for cherries. A bee, spider and his web, and butterfly finish the charming design. The entire design is only 2 inches by three inches.
Finished size of design area: 2 inch x 3 inch Group projects are available to groups of ten or more. Detailed instructions are included in the kit. The small projects are ideal for a group that is interested in expeimenting with raised embroidery. Each project is beginner level and emphasizes one of the techniques used for raised embroidery. The projects are quick and fun. The kit includes everything needed to complete the project.
